And it came to pass on the third day, as the morning drew nigh, there were voices and lightnings and a dark cloud on Mount Sinai. The voice of the trumpet sounded loud, and all the people in the camp trembled.

And Moses led the people forth out of the camp to meet God, and they stood by under the camp.

And I stood between the Lord and you at that time to report to you the words of the Lord, (because you were afraid before the fire, and you went not up to the mountain,) saying,

Then Solomon said, The Lord said that He would dwell in thick darkness.

And He bowed the heaven, and came down: and thick darkness was under His feet.

At the brightness before Him the clouds passed, hail and coals of fire.

Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and judgment are the establishment of His throne.

who cover Yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or is able to see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
