And they said to them, The Lord look upon you and judge you, for you have made our scent abominable before Pharaoh, and before his servants, to put a sword into his hands to kill us.

And now behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have seen the affliction with which the Egyptians afflict them.

Ephraim, joined with idols, has laid stumbling blocks in his own way.

saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"

and crying out with a great voice he said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure You by God, do not torment me!"

Then they began to implore Him to go away from their region.

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed implored Him that he might be with Him.

And now, Lord God, take my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

And it came to pass at the rising of the sun, that God commanded a burning east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, and he fainted, and despaired of his life, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
