You have granted him the desire of his soul, and have not withheld from him the request of his lips. Pause.

And if He should overthrow all things, who will say to Him, What have You done?

all that the Lord willed, He did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all the deep.

who establish the mountains in Your strength, being girded about with power;

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Who wears out the mountains, and [men] know it not: who overturns them in anger.

And the mountains shall be shaken under Him, and the valleys shall melt like wax before the fire, and as water rushing down a steep place.

The mountains quake at Him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at His presence, even the world, and all that dwell in it.

the earth stood at His feet and trembled: He beheld, and the nations melted away: the mountains were violently burst through, the everlasting hills melted at His everlasting going forth.

The nations shall see You and be in pain, as You divided the moving waters: the deep uttered her voice, and raised her form on high.
