Be exalted, You that judge the earth; render a reward to the proud.

How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast?

The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me.

Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and [then] You shall direct the righteous, O God that searches the hearts and minds.

The Lord is known as executing judgments: the sinner is taken in the works of his hands. Pause.

And a man shall say, Verily then there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judges them in the earth.

For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to be upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous should stretch forth their hands to iniquity.

In the day of vengeance I will recompense, whenever their foot shall be tripped up; for the day of their destruction [is] near to them, and the judgments at hand are close upon you.

For the Lord shall judge His people, and shall be comforted over His servants; for He saw that they were utterly weakened, and failed in the hostile invasion, and have become feeble.

He beholds them that perform lawless deeds, and He will save me: and do you plead before Him, if you can praise Him, as it is [possible] even now?

I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against Him, until He make good my cause: He also shall maintain my right, and shall bring me out to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.

Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, and between him that serves God, and him that serves Him not.

But in this let it not escape your notice, beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all [nations] shall come and worship before You, because Your righteous judgments have been manifested."

Disclose Your way to the Lord, and trust in Him; and He shall bring [it] to pass.

Submit yourself to the Lord, and make supplication to Him; do not fret because of him that prospers in his way, at the man that does unlawful deeds.

Do good, O Lord, to them [that are] good, and to them [that are] upright in heart.

But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity; [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

But let the faithful hold on his own way, and let him that is pure of hands take courage.

And I will go forth according to His commandments, for I have kept His ways; and I shall not turn aside from His commandments,

neither shall I transgress; but I have hid His words in my bosom.

Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer awaits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it, until it receives the early and late rain.

Do not murmur against one another, brothers, lest you be judged. Behold, the Judge stands before the doors!

Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord--that He is compassionate and He is merciful.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but [they went out] in order that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
