And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to his father David, in the place which David had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Therefore thus says the Lord, [even] the Lord, Behold, I lay for the foundations of Zion a costly stone, a choice cornerstone [and] precious, for its foundations; and he that believes [on Him] shall by no means be ashamed.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I shall build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise architect I have laid the foundation, but another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

For no other foundation can anyone lay, other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

Coming to Him as to a living stone, having been rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

For it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I place in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame."

and "a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

A Psalm of praise for the sons of Korah on the second [day] of the week. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in His holy mountain.

The city of the great King is well planted [on] the mountains of Zion, with the joy of the whole earth, [on] the sides of the north.

Why do you conceive [evil], you swelling mountains? [This is] the mountain which God has delighted to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell [in it] forever.

A Song of Degrees. I lifted up my eyes to the mountains- from where my help shall come.

For in the last days the mountain of the Lord shall be glorious, and the house of God [shall be] on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall come to it.

And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will tell us His way, and we will walk in it; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.

I will bring them to My holy mountain, and gladden them in My house of prayer; their whole burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations,

Thus says the Lord; I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a true city, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty a holy mountain.

And we heard this voice being uttered from heaven, when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
