For the end, concerning the morning aid, A Psalm of David. O God, my God, attend to me; why have You forsaken me? The account of my transgressions is far from my salvation.

You are indeed my King and my God, who commanded deliverance for Jacob.

Why do You turn away Your hand, and Your right hand from the midst of Your bosom forever?

But God is our King of old; He has wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.

Woe [to] the multitude of many nations, as the swelling sea, so shall you be confounded; and the force of many nations shall sound like water;

Toward evening, and there shall be grief; before the morning, and he shall not be. This is the portion of them that spoiled you, and the inheritance to them that robbed you of your inheritance.

Let them be as dust before the wind, and an angel of the Lord afflicting them.

For the end, A Psalm of a Song by David. Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered; and let them that hate Him flee from before Him.

As smoke vanishes, let them vanish: as wax melts before the fire, so let the sinners perish from before God.

And in the abundance of Your glory You have broken the adversaries to pieces: You sent forth Your wrath, it devoured them as stubble.

Will You be startled [at me], as [at] a leaf shaken by the wind? Or will You set Yourself against me as against grass borne upon the breeze?

And they shall be as chaff before the wind, or as dust which the storm has taken up.

For they shall not plant, neither shall they sow, neither shall their root be fixed in the ground; He has blown upon them, and they have withered, and a storm shall carry them away like sticks.

Who raised up righteousness from the east, [and] called it to His feet, so that it should go? [Who] shall appoint [it] as an adversary of Gentiles, and shall dismay kings, and bury their swords in the earth, and cast forth their bows and arrows as sticks?

So I scattered them as sticks carried by the wind into the wilderness.

whose winnowing shovel is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His threshing floor, and He will gather His wheat into the barn; but the chaff He will burn up with unquenchable fire."
