He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.

If by any means he would fill his belly, let [God] send upon him the fury of wrath; let Him bring a torrent of pains upon him.

So He brought upon them the fury of His wrath; and the war, and those that burned round about them, prevailed against them; yet none of them knew [it], neither did they take [it] to heart.

CHAPH. The Lord has accomplished His wrath; He has poured out fierce anger, and has kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured her foundations.

Therefore wait upon Me, says the Lord, until the day when I rise up for a witness: because My judgment shall be on the gatherings of the nations, to draw to Me kings, to pour out upon them all My fierce anger: for the whole earth shall be consumed with the fire of My jealousy.

But to those who are contentious, and who disobey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,

tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that works evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

And there came forth a spirit and stood before the Lord, and said, I will deceive him.

And the Lord said to him, In what way? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, You shall deceive him; yea, and you shall prevail: go forth, and do so.

Then the Lord said to the devil, Behold, I give all that he has into your hand, but touch not himself. So the devil went out from the presence of the Lord.

And the Lord said to the devil, Behold, I deliver him up to you; only save his life.

So the devil went out from the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from [his] feet to [his] head.
