That they might set their hope on God, and not forget the works of God, but diligently seek His commandments.

They made haste, they forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel.

wondrous [works] in the land of Ham, and awesome things at the Red Sea.

You have forsaken God that begot you, and forgotten God who feeds you.
