who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in Him,

He divided the sea, and led them through; He made the waters to stand as [in] a bottle.

Yet He saved them for His name's sake, that He might cause His mighty power to be known.

And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; so He led them through the deep as through the wilderness.

To Him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for His mercy [endures] forever;

and overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for His mercy endures forever.

To Him who struck down great kings; for His mercy [endures] forever;

And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the Lord carried back the sea with a strong south wind all the night, and made the sea dry, and the water was divided.

And You divided the sea before them, and they passed through the midst of the sea on dry land; and You cast them that were about to pursue them into the deep, as a stone into the mighty waters.

And the Lord shall make desolate the sea of Egypt; and He shall lay His hand on the river with a strong wind, and He shall smite the seven channels, so that men shall pass through it dry-shod.

And there shall be a passage for His people that are left in Egypt; and it shall be to Israel as the day when he came forth out of the land of Egypt.

And the water returned and covered the chariots and the riders, and all the forces of Pharaoh, who entered after them into the sea; and there was not so much as one of them left.

Awake, awake, O Jerusalem, and put on the strength of your arm; awake as in the early time, as the ancient generation.

Are you not [the One] that dried the sea, the water, [even] the abundance of the deep; that made the depths of the sea a way of passage for the delivered and redeemed?

and say, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you O Pharaoh, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, that says, The rivers are mine, and I made them.

Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: You have become like a lion among the nations, and as a serpent that is in the sea; and you made assaults with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and trampled your rivers.
