And Gad the prophet said to David, Dwell not in the stronghold: go, and you shall enter the land of Judah. So David went, and came and dwelt in the city of Hereth.

And he dwelt in Maserim in the wilderness, in the narrow passes; and dwelt in the wilderness in Mount Ziph, in the dry country. And Saul sought him continually, but the Lord delivered him not into his hands.

And Jonathan son of Saul arose, and went to David to Caene, and strengthened his hands in the Lord.

Take notice, then, and learn, and I will go with you. And it shall come to pass that if he is in the land, I will search him out among all the thousands of Judah.

And Saul and his men went to seek him. And they brought word to David, and he went down to the rock that was in the Wilderness of Maon. And Saul heard, and followed after David to the wilderness of Maon.

And the Ziphites came out of the dry country to Saul to the hill, saying, Behold, David hides himself with us in the hill Hachilah, opposite Jeshimon.

And Saul encamped in the hill of Hachilah in front of Jeshimon, by the way, and David dwelt in the wilderness. And David saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.

Behold, I continue in arms in Araboth of the desert, until there come tidings from you to report to me.

But I hoped in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to Him; [He is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

He shall say to the Lord, You are my helper and my refuge; my God; I will trust in Him.

You are my God, and I will give You thanks; You are my God, and I will exalt You. I will give thanks to You, for You have heard me, and have become my salvation.

Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your good Spirit shall guide me in the straight [way].

He was to me a helper and protector for salvation: this is my God and I will glorify Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

At that time, says the Lord, I will be a God to the family of Israel, and they shall be to Me a people.

For this is My covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: after those days, says the Lord, I will surely put My laws into their mind, and write them on their hearts. And I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people.

And I will bring the third [part] through the fire, and I will try them as silver is tried, and I will prove them as gold is proved: they shall call upon My name, and I will hear them, and say, This is My people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"

In the morning You shall hear my voice: in the morning will I wait upon You, and will look up.

When He slew them, they sought Him; and they returned and sought diligently after God.

But you be early in prayer to the Lord Almighty.

yea when dismay suddenly comes upon you, and your overthrow shall arrive like a tempest; and when tribulation and distress shall come upon you, or when ruin shall come upon you.

For it shall be that when you call upon me, I will not listen to you: wicked men shall seek me, but shall not find me.

I love those that love me, and they that seek me shall find me.

By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loves: I sought him, but found him not; I called him, but he hearkened not to me.

The watchmen who go their rounds in the city found me. I [said], Have you seen him whom my soul loves?

I will go and return to My place, until they are brought to nought, and [then] shall they seek My face.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

For the end, [A Psalm] of instruction, for the sons of Korah. As the deer earnestly desires the fountains of water, so my soul earnestly longs for You, O God.

My soul has thirsted for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?

My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh have exalted in the living God.

My soul faints for Your salvation; I have hoped in Your words.

I spread forth my hands to You; my soul [thirsts] for You, as a dry land. Pause.

Now on the last day, the great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; nor shall the sun by any means strike them, nor any scorching heat;

because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to [the] springs of [the] waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.

By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones has cleaved to my flesh.

I have charged you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the powers and the virtues of the field: if you should find my kinsman, what are you to say to him? That I am wounded with love.

And the people thirsted there for water, and there the people murmured against Moses, saying, Why is this? Have you brought us up out of Egypt to slay us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

And a man shall hide his words, and be hidden, as from rushing water, and shall appear in Zion as a rushing river, glorious in a thirsty land.

And the dry land shall become pools, and a fountain of water shall [be poured] into the thirsty land; there shall there be a joy of birds, ready habitations and marshes.

but I will open rivers on the mountains, and fountains in the midst of plains; I will make the desert pools of water, and a thirsty land watercourses.

"When an unclean spirit goes out from a man, he goes through waterless places, seeking rest, and does not find [any].
