Why did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?

Therefore shall I confess to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and sing unto Your name.

I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the church will I sing praise to You.

You that fear the Lord, praise Him; all you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him; let all the seed of Israel fear Him.

Proclaim His glory among the Gentiles, His wonderful works among all people.

A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give You thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to You before the angels; for You have heard all the words of my mouth.

Let all the kings of the earth, O Lord, give thanks unto You; for they have heard all the words of Your mouth.

And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

to make known to the sons of men Your power, and the glorious majesty of Your kingdom.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God on behalf of His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to Your name."
