And they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people.

He allowed no man to wrong them; and He rebuked kings for their sakes;

The Lord shall keep your coming in, and your going out, from this time forth and forever.

So David fled, and escaped, and he came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And Samuel and David went, and stayed at Naioth in Ramah.

out of all their affliction; not an ambassador, nor a messenger, but [He H]imself saved them, because He loved them and spared them; He Himself redeemed them, and took them up, and lifted them up all the days of old.

In journeys often, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my own race, in dangers from the Gentiles, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the wilderness, in dangers in the sea, in dangers among false brothers;

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go forth to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

These all died according to faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and welcoming [them], and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

of whom the world was not worthy, wandering in deserts and mountains and caves, and the holes of the earth.

O Lord, hearken to my prayer and my supplication; attend to my tears; be not silent, for I am a sojourner in the land, and a stranger, as all my fathers [were].

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

They went on and wept as they cast their seeds; but they shall surely come with exaltation, bringing their sheaves [with them].

Turn back, and you shall say to Hezekiah the ruler of My people, Thus says the Lord God of your father David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

[ 16:21] Let my supplication come to the Lord, and let my eye weep before Him.

because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to [the] springs of [the] waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Your eyes saw my unwrought [substance], and all [men] shall be written in Your book; they shall be formed by day, though [there should for a time] be no one among them.

Thus they spoke, [those] that feared the Lord, everyone to his neighbor: and the Lord gave heed, and listened, and He wrote a book of remembrance before him for them that feared the Lord and reverenced His name.

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened the books. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by the things having been written in the books, according to their works.
