Sinners have gone astray from the womb; they go astray from the belly; they speak lies.

And Adam lived two hundred and thirty years, and begot [a son] after his [own] form, and after his own image, and he called his name Seth.

And the Lord God smelled an aroma of sweetness, and the Lord God having considered, said, I will never again curse the earth, because of the works of men, because the imagination of man is intently bent upon evil things from his youth, I will never again smite all living flesh as I have done.

For who shall be pure from uncleanness? Not even one;

For who, being a mortal, [is such] that he shall be blameless? Or [who that is] born of a woman, that he should be just?

Alas then, abominable and unclean is man, drinking unrighteousness as a draught.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death passed to all men, because all sinned--

among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the senses, and were by nature children of wrath, as also the rest.
