For this is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide forevermore.

Our God is the God of salvation; and to the Lord belong the issues from death.

He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus!

These things you did, and I kept silent; you thought wickedly that I should be like you, [but] I will reprove you, and set [your offenses] before you.

A Song of a Psalm of Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to You? Be not silent, neither be still, O God.

The Lord God of hosts shall go forth, and crush the war; He shall stir up jealousy, and shall shout mightily against His enemies.

I have been silent; shall I also always be silent and forbear; I have endured like a travailing [woman]; I will [now] amaze and wither at once.

Behold, it is written before Me; I will not be silent until I have recompensed into their bosom,

their sins and [the sins] of their fathers, says the Lord, who have burned incense on the mountains, and reproached Me on the hills; I will recompense their works into their bosom.

Fire shall go before Him, and burn up His enemies round about.

Now Mount Sinai was altogether in smoke, because God had descended upon it in fire; and the smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the people were exceedingly amazed.

and fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

And fire went forth from the Lord, and devoured the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

And you shall know today, that the Lord your God, He shall go before your face; He is a consuming fire; He shall destroy them, and He shall turn them back before you, and shall destroy them quickly, as the Lord had said to you.

And He said, You shall go forth tomorrow, and shall stand before the Lord in the mount; behold, the Lord will pass by. And behold, a great [and] strong wind tore into the mountains, and crushed the rocks before the Lord; [but] the Lord [was] not in the wind. And after the wind [there was] an earthquake; [but] the Lord [was] not in the earthquake.

And after the earthquake [there was] a fire; [but] the Lord [was] not in the fire. And after the fire [there was] the voice of a gentle breeze.

A stream of fire rushed forth before Him. Thousands [upon] thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand attended to Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

The mountains quake at Him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at His presence, even the world, and all that dwell in it.

The Lord is good to them that wait on Him in the day of affliction; and He knows them that reverence Him.

Before His face shall go a report, and it shall go forth into the plains,

And who will abide the day of His coming? Or who will withstand at His appearing? For He is coming in as the fire of a furnace and as the herb of fullers.

He shall sit to melt and purify as it were silver, and as it were gold: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver, and they shall offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.

For behold, a day comes burning as an oven, and it shall consume them; and all the aliens, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that is coming shall set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty, and there shall not be left of them root or branch.

whose winnowing shovel is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His threshing floor, and He will gather His wheat into the barn; but the chaff He will burn up with unquenchable fire."

in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall pay a penalty--eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

Anyone disregarding the law of Moses dies without compassions on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses.

By how much worse punishment, do you think, will he be deemed worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, and has regarded as common the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and to a whirlwind,

For they could not bear that [which] was commanded: "And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned."

Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains were disturbed, and were shaken, because God was angry with them.

And He bowed the heaven, and came down: and thick darkness was under His feet.

And He made darkness His secret place; round about Him was His tabernacle, [even] dark water in the clouds of the air.

The Lord also thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.

And the springs of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at Your rebuke, O Lord, at the blasting of the breath of Your wrath.

His lightnings light the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
