A Psalm of Asaph. How good is God to Israel, to the upright in heart!

A Song of a Psalm of Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to You? Be not silent, neither be still, O God.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; Asaph the son of Berechiah [was one] of his brethren; and Ethan the son of Kushaiah was of the sons of Merari their brethren;

And they left there Asaph and his brethren before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to minister before the ark continually, according to the service of each day; from day to day.

The sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah; the sons of Asaph [were] next [to] the king.

All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

And King Hezekiah and the princes told the Levites to sing hymns to the Lord in the words of David, and of Asaph the prophet. And they sang hymns with gladness, and fell down and worshipped.

The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; and there is no end to His greatness.

And they shall speak of the glorious majesty of Your holiness, and recount Your wonders.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am your God, be well-pleasing before Me, and be blameless.

God, [even] God is the Lord, and [even] God Himself knows, and Israel shall know; if we have transgressed before the Lord by apostasy, let Him not deliver us this day.

And Ezra said, You are the only true Lord; You have made the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and everything in it, the seas, and everything in them; and You give life to all things, and the hosts of heaven worship You.

And now, O our God, the powerful, the great, the mighty, and the terrible, keeping Your covenant and Your mercy, let not all this trouble seem little in Your sight which has come upon us, and our kings, and our princes, and our priests, and our prophets, and our fathers, and upon all Your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria even to this day.

For a Child is born to us, and a Son is given to us, whose government is upon His shoulder; and His name is called the Messenger of great counsel; for I will bring peace upon the princes, and health to Him.

It is wrought silver, they will not walk, it is forged silver

Granting mercy to thousands, and recompensing the sins of the fathers into the bosoms of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God;

the Lord of great counsel, and mighty in deeds, the Great Almighty God, and Lord of great name. Your eyes are upon the ways of the children of men, to give to everyone according to his way;

And Elijah drew near to them all. And Elijah said to them, How long will you halt on both feet? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him. And the people answered not a word.

And Elijah cried aloud to the heavens, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, answer me, O Lord, answer me this day by fire, and let all this people know that You are the Lord, the God of Israel, and I [am] Your servant, and for Your sake I have done these works.

Hear me, O Lord, hear me, and let this people know that You are the Lord God, and [that] You have turned back the heart of this people.

But now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hands, that every kingdom of the earth may know that You alone are God.

For [it is] the Lord that made you; the Lord of hosts is His name; and He that delivered you, He is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.

Hear, O heaven, and hearken, O earth! For the Lord has spoken, [saying], I have begotten and reared up children, but they have rebelled against Me.

A lion shall roar, and who will not be alarmed? The Lord God has spoken, and who will not prophesy?

For the end, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. Hear these words, all you nations, give ear, all you that dwell upon the earth;

both the sons of mean men, and sons of [great] men; the rich and poor [man] together.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

For from the rising of the sun, even to the going down thereof, My name has been glorified among the Gentiles; and in every place incense is offered to My name, and a pure offering: for My name is great among the Gentiles, says the Lord Almighty.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
