For the end, for the sons of Korah; A Psalm concerning secret things. God is our refuge and strength, a help in the afflictions that have come heavily upon us.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our helper. Pause.

God is known in her palaces, when He undertakes to help her.

And the rule of God shall protect you, and [that] under the strength of the everlasting arms; and He shall cast forth the enemy from before your face, saying, Perish.

O Lord, You are my strength and my help, and my refuge in days of evil. To You the Gentiles shall come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, How worthless [were the] idols [which] our fathers procured for themselves, and there is no help in them.
