For You shall make them [turn their] back in Your latter end; You will prepare their face.

For Your weapons are fixed in me, and You have pressed Your hand heavily upon me.

God led him out of Egypt; he has as it were the glory of a unicorn. He shall consume the nations of his enemies, and he shall drain their marrow, and with his darts he shall shoot through the enemy.

For I have bent you, O Judah, for Myself as a bow, I have filled Ephraim; and I will raise up your children, O Zion, against the children of the Greeks, and I will handle you as the sword of a warrior.

And the Lord shall be over them, and His arrow shall go forth as lightning: and the Lord Almighty shall blow with the trumpet; and shall proceed with the tumult of His threatening.

Why did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?

[saying], Let us break through Their bonds, and cast away Their yoke from us.

Then shall He speak to them in His anger, and trouble them in His fury.

declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord has said to Me, You are My Son, today I have begotten You.

You shall rule them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.

saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things pertaining to your peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

and they will level you to the ground, and your children with you; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the season of your visitation."

"Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."

And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on Him that very hour, but they were afraid--for they knew that He had spoken this parable against them.

Now having heard this, they were cut to the heart, and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brothers, what shall we do?"

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added.

But when they heard this, they were infuriated and were resolving to kill them.

Now hearing these things they were infuriated in their hearts, and were gnashing their teeth against him.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before Him.

Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

Let all the earth worship You, and sing to You; let them sing to Your name. Pause.

However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

And more than ever, believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

And the word of God was growing, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was being multiplied exceedingly, and a great many of the priests were obeying the faith.

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out through me, in word and deed, for the obedience of [the] Gentiles--

in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
