Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you should perish from the righteous way. Whenever His wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in Him.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who hopes in Him.

For the Lord loves mercy and truth; God will give grace and glory; the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in You!

[It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.

[It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.

And he shall be as a thriving tree by the waters, and he shall cast forth his root toward a moist place. He shall not fear when heat comes, and there shall be shady branches upon him; he shall not fear in a year of drought, and he shall not fail to bear fruit.

And again, Isaiah says: "There shall be the root of Jesse; and He that shall rise to rule over the Gentiles, in Him the Gentiles shall hope."

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In his sight an evil worker is set at nought, but he honors them that fear the Lord. He swears to his neighbor, and disappoints [him] not.

I have not set before my eyes any unlawful thing; I have hated transgressors.

Him that secretly speaks against his neighbor, him have I driven from [me]; he that is proud in look and insatiable in heart- with him I have not eaten.

He that is proud dwelled not in the midst of my house; the unjust speaker prospered not in my sight.

You have rebuked the proud; cursed are they that turn aside from Your commandments.

But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity; [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

They have no understanding to perceive; for they have been blinded so that they should not see with their eyes, nor perceive with their heart.

Know that their heart is ashes, and they err, and no one is able to deliver his soul; see, you will not say, [There is a] lie in my right hand.

Every man is deprived of knowledge, every goldsmith is confounded because of his graven images; for he has cast false gods, there is no breath in them.

They are vain works, wrought in mockery; in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

[ 2:9] Those that observe vanities and lies have forsaken their own mercy.

whose coming is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

And because of this, God will send them strong delusion, in order for them to believe the lie,
