for Your name's sake have I waited for You, O Lord, my soul has waited for Your word.

My soul has hoped in the Lord; from the morning watch till night.

waiting for the salvation of the Lord.

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

For I hoped in You, O Lord; You will hear, O Lord my God.

My soul faints for Your salvation; I have hoped in Your words.

I have waited for Your salvation, O Lord, and have loved Your commandments.

Though the Mighty One should lay [His] hand upon me, forasmuch as He has begun, verily I will speak, and plead before Him.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
