When evildoers drew near against me to eat up my flesh, my persecutors and my enemies, they fainted and fell.

For the inward thought of man shall give thanks to You, and the memorial of his inward thought shall keep a feast to You.

And Saul and his men went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men on the other side of the mountain. And David was hiding himself to escape from Saul; and Saul and his men encamped against David and his men, in order to take them.

And a messenger came to Saul, saying, Make haste and come here, for the Philistines have invaded the land!

Have You not made a hedge about him, and about his household, and all his possessions round about? And have You not blessed the works of his hands, and multiplied his substance upon the land?

Know, you Gentiles, and be conquered; listen, even to the extremity of the earth; be conquered, after you strengthened yourselves; for even if you should again strengthen yourselves, you shall again be conquered.

And whatever counsel you shall take, the Lord shall bring it to nought; and whatever word you shall speak, it shall not stand among you; for God is with us.

And it shall come to pass, when the Lord has finished doing all things on Mount Zion and Jerusalem, [that] I will visit upon the proud heart, [even] upon the ruler of the Assyrians, and upon the boastful haughtiness of his eyes.

to do all that Your hand and Your counsel foreordained to come to pass.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; establish me with Your directing Spirit.

In God [is] my salvation and my glory; [He is] the God of my help, and my hope is in God.

I will satisfy him with length of days, and show him My salvation.

waiting for the salvation of the Lord.

Behold, my God is my Savior; I will trust in Him, and not be afraid; for the Lord is my glory and my praise, and has become my salvation.

for my eyes have seen Your salvation
