He asked life of You, and You gave him length of days forever and ever.

I will satisfy him with length of days, and show him My salvation.

That you may fear the Lord your God, and keep all His statutes, and His commandments, which I command you today, you, and your sons, and your sons' sons, all the days of your life, that you may live many days.

to love the Lord your God, to hearken to His voice, and cleave to Him; for this [is] your life, and the length of your days, that you should dwell upon the land, which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them.

For "He that desires to love life and see good days, let him stop his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile.

Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

Many say, Who will show us good things? The light of Your countenance, O Lord, has been manifested towards us.

Remember then that my life is breath, and my eye shall not yet again see good.

And I examined whether my heart would excite my flesh as [with] wine, (though my heart guided [me] in wisdom,) and [I desired] to lay hold of mirth, until I should see of what kind is the good to the sons of men, which they should do under the sun all the days of their life.
