By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the host of them by the breath of His [mouth].

Let them praise the name of the Lord; for He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created.

He has established them forever, even forever and ever; He has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away.

And God said, Let there be light, and there was light.

By faith we understand that time [itself] was framed by a word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Your testimonies are made very sure; holiness becomes Your house, O Lord, forever.

Your truth [endures] to all generations; You have founded the earth, and it abides.

The day continues by Your arrangement; for all things are Your servants.

because by Him all things were created, those in the heavens and those on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.

And He is before all things, and in Him all things are held together.

who being the effulgence of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy [One], to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."
