All that saw Me mocked Me; they spoke with [their] lips, they shook the head, [saying],

My tears have been bread to me day and night, while they daily said to me, Where is your God?

While my bones were breaking, they that afflicted me reproached me; while they said to me daily, Where is your God?

saying, God has forsaken him: persecute him, and take him; for there is none to deliver [him].

And thus Shimei said when he cursed him, Go out, go out, you bloody man, and man of sin.

The Lord has returned upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, because you have reigned in his place; and the Lord has given the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son: and behold, you [are taken] in your mischief, because you [are] a bloody man.

He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on Him.

He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He'll [have] Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"

I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy mountain. Pause.

Deliverance is the Lord's, and Your blessing is upon Your people.

O you sons of men, how long [will you be] slow to hear? Why do you love vanity, and seek falsehood? Pause.

Be angry, and sin not; feel compunction upon your beds for what you say in your hearts. Pause.

God shall come from Teman, and the Holy One from the dark shady Mount Paran. Pause.

Surely you bent your bow at scepters, says the Lord. Pause. The land of rivers shall be torn asunder.

You went forth for the salvation of Your people, to save Your anointed: You shall bring death on the heads of transgressors; You have brought bands upon their neck. Pause.
