For You, O Lord, shall light my lamp: my God, You shall lighten my darkness.

For the Lord loves mercy and truth; God will give grace and glory; the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

As when His lamp shone over my head; when by His light I walked through darkness.

And now, O house of Jacob, come, [and] let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!

And kings shall walk in your light, and nations in your brightness.

But I will look to the Lord; I will wait upon God my Savior: my God will hearken to me.

Rejoice not against me, mine enemy; for I have fallen yet shall arise; for though I should sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.

But to you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise, and healing [shall be] in His wings: and you shall go forth, and bound as young calves let loose from bonds.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

All things came to be through Him, and without Him nothing came to be which has come to be.

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not apprehend it.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He that follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

And night shall not exist. and there [shall] not [be a] need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Deliverance is the Lord's, and Your blessing is upon Your people.

The Lord is my firm support, and my refuge, and my deliverer; my God is my helper, I will hope in Him; [He is] my defender, and the horn of my salvation, and my helper.

For He is my God, and my savior; my helper, I shall not be greatly moved.

For He [is] my God and my Savior; my helper, I shall not be moved.

Blessed be the Lord God, blessed be the Lord daily; and the God of our salvation shall prosper us. Pause.

Our God is the God of salvation; and to the Lord belong the issues from death.

The Lord is my strength and my song, and has become my salvation.

The voice of exaltation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord has done mightily.

I will give thanks to You; because You have heard me, and have become my salvation.

He was to me a helper and protector for salvation: this is my God and I will glorify Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

Behold, my God is my Savior; I will trust in Him, and not be afraid; for the Lord is my glory and my praise, and has become my salvation.

Lift up your eyes to the sky, and look on the earth beneath; for the sky was darkened like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and the inhabitants shall die in like manner; but My righteousness shall not fail.

For as a garment will be devoured by time, and as wool will be devoured by a moth, [so shall they be consumed]; but My righteousness shall be forever, and My salvation for all generations.

and they shall greatly rejoice in the Lord. Let my soul rejoice in the Lord; for He has clothed me with the robe of salvation, and the garment of joy; He has put a turban on me as on a bridegroom, and adorned me with ornaments as a bride.

for my eyes have seen Your salvation

and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.'"

And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation [belongs] to our God, to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

For the end, [A Psalm] of David, the servant of the Lord; [the words] which he spoke to the Lord, [even] the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord delivered him out the hand of all his enemies, and out the hand of Saul. And he said: I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord lives; and blessed [be] my God; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

So shall the sayings of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing continually before You, O Lord my helper, and my redeemer.

The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in Him, and I am helped; my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to Him.

The Lord is the strength of His people, and the saving defender of His anointed.

for You are my strength; why have You cast me off? And why do I go mourning, while the enemy oppresses [me]?

saying, Righteousness and glory shall come to Him; and all that remove them from their borders shall be ashamed.

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

For the end, A Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will you say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?

For the end, for the sons of Korah; A Psalm concerning secret things. God is our refuge and strength, a help in the afflictions that have come heavily upon us.

Therefore will we not fear when the earth is troubled, and the mountains are removed into the depths of the seas.

My enemies have trodden me down all the day from the dawning of the day; for there are many warring against me.

In God (I will praise [His] word); all the day long have I hoped in God; I will not fear; what shall man do to me?

The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear, what shall man do to me?

But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O [you] of little faith?" Then having risen, He rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who [can be] against us?

so that being confident, we may say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
