[A Psalm] of David. To You, O Lord, have I cried; my God, be not silent toward me; lest You be silent toward me, and so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit.

Draw not away my soul with sinners, and destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors, but evil are in their hearts.

And if a man shall rise up persecuting you and seeking your life, yet shall the life of my lord be bound up in the bundle of life with the Lord God, and you shall whirl the life of your enemies as in the midst of a sling.

Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, and between him that serves God, and him that serves Him not.

and he will cut him in two, and will appoint his share with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

"Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and we did not minister to You?'

"And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Blessed are those who do His commandments, so that their right shall be to the tree of life, and they may enter by the gates into the city.

But outside are dogs and drug users and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices a lie.

Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; [and] my tongue shall joyfully declare Your righteousness.

But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; bloody and crafty men shall not live out half their days; but I will hope in You, O Lord.

Oh that You would slay the wicked, O God. Depart from me, you men of blood!

And the king said to Doeg, Turn, and fall upon the priests: and Doeg the Syrian turned, and killed the priests of the Lord in that day, three hundred and five men, all wearing an ephod.

And he struck Nob, the city of the priest, with the edge of the sword, both man and woman, infant and suckling, calf and ox, and also sheep.

And thus Shimei said when he cursed him, Go out, go out, you bloody man, and man of sin.

And there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David sought the face of the Lord. And the Lord said, [There is] guilt upon Saul and his house because of his bloody murder, whereby he slew the Gibeonites.
