The poor shall eat and be satisfied; and they shall praise the Lord that seek Him; their heart shall live forever.

when God arose to judgment, to save all the meek in heart. Pause.

The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground.

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; and will exalt the meek with salvation.

but He shall judge the cause of the lowly, and shall reprove the lowly of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the word of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He destroy the ungodly one.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me; He has sent Me to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind;

Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth; do judgment, and seek justice, and answer accordingly; that you may be hid in the day of the wrath of the Lord.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

gentleness, self-control--against such things there is no law.

Therefore laying aside all filthiness and abundance of evil, in meekness receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

rather [let it be] the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible [attitude] of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

He has restored my soul; He has guided me into the paths of righteousness, for His name's sake.

I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will fix My eyes upon you.

Be not as the horse and mule, which have no understanding; [but you must] constrain their jaws with bit and bridle, lest they should come near to you.

You have guided me by Your counsel, and You have taken me to Yourself with glory.

Teach me kindness, instruction, and knowledge; for I have believed Your commandments.

Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your good Spirit shall guide me in the straight [way].

Trust in God with all your heart; and be not exalted in your own wisdom.

In all your ways acquaint yourself with her, that she may rightly direct your paths.

I walk in ways of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment;

Jacob is My servant, I will help him; Israel is My elect, My soul has accepted him; I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

A bruised reed he shall not break, and smoking flax he shall not quench; but he shall bring forth judgment to truth.

And I will give them another heart, and will put a new spirit within them; and will extract the heart of stone from their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh;

that they may walk in My commandments, and keep My ordinances, and do them: and they shall be to Me a people, and I will be to them a God.

And I will put My Spirit in you, and will cause you to walk in My ordinances, and to keep My judgments, and do [them].

Guide me in the path of Your commandments; for I have delighted in it.
