You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be obedient to your word; only in the throne will I excel you.

And he mounted him on the second of his chariots, and a herald made proclamation before him; and he set him over all the land of Egypt.

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I am Pharaoh; without you no one shall lift up his hand on all the land of Egypt.

And Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it on his head, and kissed him, and said to him, Has not the Lord anointed you for a ruler over His people, over Israel? And you shall rule among the people of the Lord, and you shall save them out of the hand of their enemies; and this [shall be] the sign to you that the Lord has anointed you to be ruler over His inheritance:

And you shall leave in Israel seven thousand men, all the knees which had not bowed themselves to Baal, and every mouth which had not worshipped him.

And now they have sinned increasingly, and have made for themselves a molten image of their silver, according to the fashion of idols, the work of artificers accomplished for them. they say, Sacrifice men, for the calves have come to an end.

so that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Then shall He speak to them in His anger, and trouble them in His fury.

in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall pay a penalty--eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from [the] face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!

For the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"

Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the Beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the Beast and his image, and anyone who receives the mark of his name."

Blessed [is] the man whose hope is in the name of the Lord, and [who] has not regarded vanities, nor turned aside to lies.

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in You!

Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

[He who is] skillful in business finds good, but he that trusts in God is most blessed.

supporting truth, and keeping peace; for on You, O Lord,

they have trusted with confidence forever, the great, eternal God;

And the Lord will again wait, that He may pity you, and will therefore be exalted that He may have mercy upon you; because the Lord your God is a Judge; blessed are they that wait on Him.

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.

Just as it is written: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and rock of offense, and everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame."

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

so that we should be to the praise of His glory, we who first trusted in Christ;

who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

For it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I place in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame."
