Sing to God, sing praises to His name: make a way for Him that rides upon the west (the Lord is His name) and rejoice before Him. They shall be troubled before the face of Him,

O Lord, bow Your heavens, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

Send forth Your hand from on high; rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hand of strange children;

O God, I will sing a new song to You: I will play to You on a psaltery of ten strings.

Deliver me, and rescue me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth has spoken vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of iniquity;

Their garners are full, and bursting with one kind of store after another; their sheep are prolific, multiplying in their streets.

Men bless the people to whom this lot belongs, [but] blessed are the people whose God is the Lord.

There is not [any such] as the God of the beloved; He who rides upon the heaven [is] your helper, and the Magnificent One of the firmament.

And He bowed the heavens, and came down, and [there was] darkness under His feet.

Lift up your eyes to the sky, and look on the earth beneath; for the sky was darkened like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and the inhabitants shall die in like manner; but My righteousness shall not fail.

And the Lord shall cry out of Zion, and shall utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heaven and the earth shall be shaken, but the Lord shall spare His people, and shall strengthen the children of Israel.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven."

But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them.

These words the Lord spoke to all the assembly of you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire- [there was] darkness, blackness, a storm, [and] a loud voice- and He added no more, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone, and He gave them to me.

And it came to pass when you heard the voice out of the midst of the fire, for the mountain burned with fire, that you came to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders,

Now when the sixth hour had come, darkness came upon the whole land until the ninth hour.

Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you shall know after this."
