In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight."

And turning to His disciples He said, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and [the one] to whom the Son wills to reveal [Him]."

that my glory may sing praise to You, and I may not be pierced [with sorrow]. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early.

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope.

Even so the tongue is a small member and it boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!

For every kind of both beasts and birds, of both reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.

With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are created according to [the] likeness of God.

For if a man should die, shall he live again, having accomplished the days of his life? I will wait till I exist again.

Then shall You call, and I will answer You: but do not reject the work of Your hands.

[and] to raise up upon the earth my skin that endures these [sufferings]: for these things have been accomplished to me of the Lord;

which I am conscious of in myself, which my eye has seen, and not another, but all have been fulfilled to me in my bosom.

The ungodly shall be driven away in his wickedness, but he who is secure in his own holiness is just.

The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice; for the dew from You is healing to them; but the land of the ungodly shall perish.

Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose [again], thus also God will bring with Him those who die in Jesus.
