My heart and my flesh have failed; [but] God [is the strength] of my heart, and God is my portion forever.

You are my portion, O Lord; I said that I would keep Your law.

I cried unto You, O Lord, and said, You are my hope, my portion in the land of the living.

And His people Jacob became the portion of the Lord, Israel was the line of His inheritance.

Such is not the portion of Jacob; for He that formed all things, He is his inheritance; the Lord is His name.

The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I wait for Him.

He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.

You have prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; and Your cup cheers me like the best [wine].

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

And do not get drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

But I have been made King by Him on Zion His holy mountain,

For You have maintained my cause and my right; You sat on the throne, that judges in righteousness.

For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved.

You shall make them as a fiery oven at the time of Your presence; the Lord shall trouble them in His anger, and fire shall devour them.

For they intended evil against You; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform.

You shall add days to the days of the king; [You shall lengthen] his years to all generations.

He shall endure forever before God. Which of them shall seek out His mercy and truth?

I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Pause.

I have found David My servant; I have anointed him by [My] holy mercy.

The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.

But My truth and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name shall his horn be exalted.

He shall call upon Me, [saying], You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.

I will keep My mercy for him forever, and My covenant [shall be] firm with him.

If his children should forsake My law, and walk not in My judgments;

I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.

Neither will I by any means profane My covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of My lips.

His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool.

The Lord shall send out the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies!

The Lord has sworn [in] truth to David, and He will not annul it, [saying], Of the fruit of your body will I set [a king] upon your throne.

There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for My Anointed.

His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon Himself shall My holiness flourish.

Jacob is My servant, I will help him; Israel is My elect, My soul has accepted him; I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Therefore He shall inherit many, and He shall divide the spoils of the mighty; because His soul was delivered to death; and He was numbered among the transgressors; and He bore the sins of many, and was delivered up because of their transgressions.

"This Jesus God has raised up, of which we all are witnesses."

Him God has exalted to His right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet.
