Whose mouth is full of cursing, and bitterness, and fraud: under his tongue are trouble and pain.

Everyone has spoken vanity to his neighbor: their lips are deceitful, they have spoken with a double heart.

Sinners have gone astray from the womb; they go astray from the belly; they speak lies.

for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the crafty have been opened against me; they have spoken against me with a crafty tongue.

And they have compassed me with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

They have hatched vipers' eggs, and weave a spider's web; and he that is going to eat of their eggs, having crushed an addled egg, has found also in it a basilisk.

Know that their heart is ashes, and they err, and no one is able to deliver his soul; see, you will not say, [There is a] lie in my right hand.

And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is better for you that one of your members be lost, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

And he causes all, small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, that they should receive marks on their right hand, or on their foreheads,

and that no one may buy or sell except he that has the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
