[A Psalm] of David. Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous; praise becomes the upright.

Praise the Lord on the harp; make melody to Him on a psaltery of ten strings.

When the house was built after the Captivity, a Song of David. Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.

Proclaim His glory among the Gentiles, His wonderful works among all people.

Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy [endures] forever.

Let them acknowledge to the Lord His mercies, and His wonderful works to the children of men.

For His mercy has been abundant toward us; and the truth of the Lord endures forever.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. [ 151:0] [This Psalm is a genuine one of David, though supernumerary, composed when he fought in single combat with Goliath.] [ 151:1] I was small among my brothers, and youngest in my father's house: I tended my father's sheep. [ 151:2] My hands formed a musical instrument, and my fingers tuned a psaltery. [ 151:3] And who shall tell my Lord? The Lord Himself, He Himself hears. [ 151:4] He sent forth His angel, and took me from my father's sheep, and He anointed me with the oil of His anointing. [ 151:5] My brothers were handsome and tall; but the Lord did not take pleasure in them. [ 151:6] I went forth to meet the Philistine; and he cursed me by his idols. [ 151:7] But I drew his own sword, and beheaded him, and removed the reproach from the children of Israel.

I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness; I will sing to the name of the Lord Most High.

to proclaim the name of the Lord in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem;

Let the name of the Lord be blessed, now and forevermore.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His praise is above the earth and heaven,

And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood near him there, and called by the name of the Lord.

and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity and unrighteousness and sins; and He will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.

And the Levites, Jeshua and Kadmiel, said, Rise up, bless the Lord our God forever and ever; and let them bless Your glorious name, and exalt it with all blessing and praise.

A Song of Degrees. Behold now, bless the Lord, all the servants of the Lord, who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sings praises to Him with timbrel and psaltery.
