And the man's name [was] Elimelech, and his wife's name [was] Naomi, and the names of his two sons [were] Mahlon and Chilion- Ephrathites of Bethlehem, Judah. And they came to the land of Moab, and remained there.

And you, Bethlehem, house of Ephratha, are few in number to be reckoned among the thousands of Judah; yet out of you shall one come forth to Me, to be a ruler of Israel; and His goings forth were from the beginning, even from eternity.

And the men of Kirjath Jearim came, and brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord. And they brought it into the house of Aminadab on the hill; and they sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

So David assembled all Israel, from the borders of Egypt even to the entering in of Hamath, to bring in the ark of God from the city of Jearim.

And David brought it up. And all Israel went up to the City of David, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of the Lord God who sits between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed.
