Many are the scourges of the sinner; but him that hopes in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear Him, those that hope in His mercy;

For our heart shall rejoice in Him, and we have hoped in His holy name.

Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in You.

How have You multiplied Your mercy, O God! So the children of men shall trust in the shelter of Your wings.

But I am as a fruitful olive in the house of God; I have trusted in the mercy of God forever, even forevermore.

The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, and in all that hope in His mercy.

Behold, my God is my Savior; I will trust in Him, and not be afraid; for the Lord is my glory and my praise, and has become my salvation.

keep yourselves in the love of God, anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in Your salvation.

And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth; I will give thanks to You on the harp, O God, my God.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to Him, [who is] the health of my countenance, [and] my God.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; establish me with Your directing Spirit.

My soul faints for Your salvation; I have hoped in Your words.

My heart is established in the Lord, my horn is exalted in my God; my mouth is enlarged over my enemies, I have rejoiced in Your salvation.

yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in God my Savior.

and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was spoken to them.
