For he has said in his heart, God has forgotten; He has turned away His face so as never to look.

O my God, I have trusted in You; let me not be confounded, neither let my enemies laugh me to scorn.

Let not them that are my enemies rejoice against me without a cause; who hate me for nothing, and wink with their eyes.

Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, aha, [it is pleasing] to our soul; neither let them say, We have devoured him.

For I said, Lest my enemies rejoice against me; for when my feet were moved, they spoke boastfully against me.

And when the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land hear it, they shall compass us round about and destroy us from off the land: and what will You do [for] Your great name?

Thus says the Lord: When all the earth is rejoicing, I will make you desolate.

Arise, O Lord, let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged before You.

And they shall fight against you, but they shall by no means prevail against you; because I am with you, to deliver you, says the Lord.

AIN. My eye has poured out water, because He that should comfort me, that should restore my soul, has been removed far from me. My sons have been destroyed, because the enemy has prevailed.

Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

For He is my God, and my savior; my helper, I shall not be greatly moved.

For He [is] my God and my Savior; my helper, I shall not be moved.

For he shall not be moved forever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

A Song of Degrees. I lifted up my eyes to the mountains- from where my help shall come.

Let not your foot be moved; and let not your keeper slumber.

A man shall not prosper by wickedness, but the roots of the righteous shall not be taken up.
