Render a recompense to Your servant; [so] shall I live, and keep Your words.

I will sing to the Lord who has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord Most High.

The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: You are He that restores my inheritance to me.

The lines have fallen to me in the best places; yea, I have a most excellent heritage.

And You have made me secure in my salvation; and Your right hand has helped me, and Your correction has upheld me to the end; yea, Your correction itself shall instruct me.

You have prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; and Your cup cheers me like the best [wine].

Your mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

You have turned my mourning into joy for me; You have removed my sackcloth, and have clothed me with gladness;

Return to your rest, O my soul; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

But who am I, and what [is] my people, that we have been able to be thus forward [in offering] to You? For all things [are] Yours, and of Your own have we given You,
