Behold, God assists me; and the Lord is the helper of my soul.

He shall deliver my soul in peace from them that draw near to me; for they were with me in many [cases].

And the Spirit came upon Amasai, a captain of the thirty, and he said, Go, David, son of Jesse, you and your people. Peace, peace be to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God has helped you. And David received them, and made them captains of the forces.

For You have delivered me out of all [my] afflictions, and my eye has seen [its desire] upon my enemies.

[As for] my God, His mercy shall go before me; my God will show me [vengeance] on my enemies.

And my eye has seen my enemies, and my ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me.

His heart is established, he shall not fear, till he shall see [his desire] upon his enemies.
