Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].

[A Psalm] of instruction for Ethan the Israelite. I will sing of Your mercies, O Lord, forever; I will declare Your truth with my mouth to all generations.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him, praise His name.

For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting; and His truth [endures] from generation to generation.

O Lord God, I will glorify You, I will sing to Your name; for You have done wonderful things, [even] an ancient [and] faithful counsel. Amen.

He shall give blessings truly to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers, according to the former days.

He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy,

As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever."

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, in order to confirm the promises to the fathers,

and that the Gentiles might glorify God on behalf of His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to Your name."

This is He who came through water and blood--Jesus Christ, not only by the water, but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is He who witnesses, because the Spirit is the truth.
