Because they have not attended to the works of the Lord, even to the works of His hands, You shall pull them down, and shall not build them up.

and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood His deeds.

For they drink wine with harp, and psaltery, and drums, and pipes; but they regard not the works of the Lord, and consider not the works of His hands.

Who is the wise man, that he may understand this? And he that has the word of the mouth of the Lord [addressed] to him, let him tell you why the land has been destroyed, [and] has been ravaged by fire like a desert, so that no one passes through it.

And he said to me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to afflict yourself before the Lord your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.

Who is wise, and will understand these things? Or prudent, and will know them? For the ways of the Lord are straight, and the righteous shall walk in them; but the ungodly shall fall therein.

The sacrifice of praise will glorify Me; and that is the way in which I will show to him the salvation of God.

but let him that boasts boast in this: the understanding and knowing that I am the Lord that exercises mercy, and judgment, and righteousness upon the earth; for in these things is My pleasure, says the Lord.

that you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height--

and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
