He has remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations;

And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected Me, and that they have walked perversely before Me,

And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraham will I remember.

And the Lord had mercy and compassion upon them, and had regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraam, Isaac, and Jacob; and the Lord would not destroy them, and did not cast them out from His presence.

that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,

to perform the mercy [promised] to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,

Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion concerning Your servants.

For the Lord shall judge His people, and comfort Himself concerning His servants.

And the Lord was prevailed upon to preserve His people.

For the Lord shall judge His people, and shall be comforted over His servants; for He saw that they were utterly weakened, and failed in the hostile invasion, and have become feeble.

And because the Lord raised them up judges, so the Lord was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved at their groaning by reason of them that besieged them and afflicted them.

How shall I deal with you, O Ephraim? [How] shall I protect you, O Israel? What shall I do with you? I will make you as Adamah, and as Zeboiim; My heart is turned at once, My repentance is powerfully excited.

Relent, O Lord, of this. And this shall not be, says the Lord.

This also shall not be, says the Lord.

For the end, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, when he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your great mercy; and according to the multitude of Your compassions, blot out my transgression.

Hear me, O Lord; for Your mercy is good: according to the multitude of Your compassions, look upon me.

I remembered the mercy of the Lord, the praises of the Lord in all things in which He recompenses us. The Lord is a good judge to the house of Israel; He deals with us according to His mercy, and according to the abundance of His righteousness.

CHAPH. For He that has brought down will pity, and that according to the abundance of His mercy.
