And I will make your seed like the dust of the earth; if anyone is able to number the dust of the earth, then shall your seed be numbered.

And He said to him, I am the God of your fathers; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And the children of Israel increased and multiplied, and became numerous and grew exceedingly strong, and the land multiplied them.

and he shall answer and say before the Lord your God, My father abandoned Syria, and went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a small number, and became there a mighty nation and a great multitude.

Now when the time of the promise drew near which God swore to Abraham, the people increased and multiplied in Egypt,

Therefore even from one [man] they were begotten, and him as good as dead, just as the stars of the sky in multitude, and innumerable as the sand by the seashore.

And there arose up another king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.

And he said to his nation, Behold, the race of the children of Israel is a great multitude, and is stronger than we!

And the children Israel departed from Rameses to Succoth, [to the full number of] six hundred thousand footmen, even men, besides the baggage.
