He has founded it upon the seas, and prepared it upon the rivers.

For He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created.

To Him who established the earth on the waters; for His mercy [endures] forever.

He stretches out the north wind upon nothing, and He hangs the earth upon nothing;

Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me now, if you have knowledge.

On what are its rings fastened? And who is He that laid the cornerstone upon it?

For the day before the Sabbath, when the land was [first] inhabited, the praise of a Song by David. The Lord reigns; He has clothed Himself with honor; the Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; for He has established the world, which shall not be moved.

Say among the heathen, The Lord reigns; for He has established the world so that it shall not be moved; He shall judge the people in righteousness.

A generation goes, and a generation comes; but the earth abides forever.

But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

Then the sky was split like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed out of their places.

Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them.
