For the sinners shall perish; and the enemies of the Lord at the moment of their being honored and exalted have utterly vanished like smoke.

For I have become as a bottle in the frost; [yet] I have not forgotten Your statutes.

[you] who do not know [what will] happen tomorrow. For what is your life? For it will be a vapor that appears for a little [time], but then also disappears.

I am poured out like water, and all My bones are loosened; My heart in the midst of My belly has become like melting wax.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue is glued to My throat; and You have brought Me down to the dust of death.

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with groanings; my strength has been weakened through poverty, and my bones are troubled.

For there is no health in my flesh because of Your anger; there is no peace to my bones because of my sins.

And my skin has been greatly blackened, and my bones are burned with heat.

MEM. He has sent fire from His lofty habitation, He has brought it into my bones: He has spread a net for my feet, He has turned me back: He has made me desolate and mourning all the day.

He has made old my flesh and my skin; He has broken my bones.
