Because of the misery of the poor, and because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the Lord, I will set [them] in safety; I will speak [to them] openly.

From the ends of the earth have I cried to You, when my heart was in trouble; You lifted me up on a rock; You guided me;

For the end, [A Psalm] of David, for alternate [strains]. Save me, O God; for the waters have come in to my soul.

I am stuck fast in deep mire, and there is no standing: I have come in to the depths of the sea, and a storm has overwhelmed me.

I will pour out my supplication before Him. I will declare before Him my affliction.

When my spirit was fainting within me, then You knew my paths; in the very way in which I was walking, they hid a snare for me.

Therefore my spirit was grieved in me; my heart was troubled within me.

Therefore my success has perished, and my hope from the Lord.

and my soul shall meditate with me.

And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be greatly amazed, and deeply depressed.

Then He said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death. Remain here and watch."

And being in agony, He prayed more fervently. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down onto the ground.

who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up both prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears to the [One] who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His fear of God,

I remembered these things, and poured out my soul in me, for I will go to the place of Your wondrous tabernacle, [even] to the house of God, with a voice of exaltation and thanksgiving and of the sound of those who keep festival.

Hope in Him, all you congregation of the people; pour out your hearts before Him, for God is our helper. Pause.

I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. Pause.

I will pour out my supplication before Him. I will declare before Him my affliction.

And Anna answered and said, No my lord, [I live] in a hard day, and I have not drunk wine or strong drink, and I pour out my soul before the Lord.

Count not your maidservant for a wicked woman, for by reason of the abundance of my complaint I have continued [my prayer] until now.

Attend to the voice of my supplication, my King, and my God; for to You, O Lord, will I pray.

because of the voice of the enemy, and because of the oppression of the sinner; for they brought iniquity against me, and were wrathfully angry with me.

Fear and trembling came upon me, and darkness covered me.

For the end, A Psalm of David. Blessed [is the man] who thinks on the poor and needy; the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.

May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.

Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spirit has failed; do not hide Your face from me, lest I be like them that go down to the pit.

He will perform the desire of them that fear Him: and He will hear their supplication, and save them.

And when I was afflicted I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: He heard my voice out of His holy temple, and my cry shall enter before Him, into His ears.

And in those days after a length of time, the king of Egypt died. And the children of Israel groaned because of their tasks, and cried, and their cry because of their tasks went up to God.

And they put away the strange gods from the midst of them, and served the Lord only, and His soul was pained for the trouble of Israel.

At this time tomorrow I will send to you a man out of the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be ruler over My people Israel, and he shall save My people out of the hand of the Philistines, for I have looked upon the humiliation of My people, for their cry has come unto Me.

Then the priests the Levites rose up and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came [up] to His holy dwelling place, [even] into heaven.

GIMEL. Yea, [though] I cry and shout, He shuts out my prayer.

You have veiled Yourself with a cloud because of prayer, that I might be blind, and be cast off.
