Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King over all gods; for the Lord will not cast off His people.

Come, let us worship and fall down before Him, and weep before the Lord that made us.

For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

So that you should know that the Lord your God, He is God, and there is none beside Him.

And you shall know this day, and shall consider in your heart, that the Lord your God, He [is] God in heaven above, and on the earth below, and there is none else but He.

You shall know therefore, that the Lord your God, He [is] God, a faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy for them that love Him, and for those that keep His commandments to a thousand generations,

And the Lord shall deliver you this day into my hand, and I will kill you, and take away your head from off of you, and I will give your limbs and the limbs of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky, and to the wild beasts of the earth; and all the earth shall know that there is a God in Israel.

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord delivers not by sword or spear, for the battle is the Lord's, and the Lord will deliver you into our hands.

And Elijah cried aloud to the heavens, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, answer me, O Lord, answer me this day by fire, and let all this people know that You are the Lord, the God of Israel, and I [am] Your servant, and for Your sake I have done these works.

Then fire fell from the Lord out of heaven, and devoured the whole burnt offerings, and the wood and the water that was in the trench, and the fire licked up the stones and the earth.

And now, O Lord our God, deliver us out of his hand, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall know that You alone [are] the Lord God.

They must certainly be borne, for they cannot ride [of themselves]. Fear them not, for they cannot do any evil, and there is no good in them.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

for as I passed by and considered the objects of your worship, I found also an altar on which it had been inscribed: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, [Him] whom being ignorant of you worship, this [One] I announce to you:

The God who made the world and all the things in it, Him being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in sanctuaries made by human hands,

Because it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts to give [the] light of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of Jesus Christ.

But at one time indeed, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature were not gods.

But now, having known God, or rather, having been known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which once again you wish to be slaves?

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Come, let us worship and fall down before Him, and weep before the Lord that made us.

Your hands have made me, and fashioned me; instruct me, that I may learn Your commandments.

For You, O Lord, have possessed my reins; You have helped me from my mother's womb.

My bones, which You made in secret, were not hidden from You, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth.

But Your friends, O God, have been greatly honored by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened.

Oh that You would slay the wicked, O God. Depart from me, you men of blood!

Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate You? And [have I not] wasted away because of Your enemies?

Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths;

Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him; and let the children of Zion exalt in their King.

Your hands have formed me and made me; afterwards You changed Your mind, and struck me.

Have You not poured me out like milk, and curdled me like cheese?

And You bestowed upon me life and mercy, and Your oversight has preserved my spirit.

And remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of evil come, and the years overtake [you] in which you shall say, I have no pleasure in them.

For we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

who have said, We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own: who is Lord of us?

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

[A Psalm] of instruction, of Asaph. Why have You rejected [us], O God, forever? [Why] has Your wrath been kindled against the sheep of Your pasture?

Remember Your congregation which You have purchased from the beginning; You ransomed the rod of Your inheritance, this Mount Zion where You have dwelt.

And He removed His people like sheep; He led them as a flock in the wilderness.

For we are Your people and the sheep of Your pasture; we will give You thanks forever; we will declare Your praise throughout all generations.

For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

O you that brings glad tidings to Zion, go up on the high mountain; lift up your voice with strength, you that brings glad tidings to Jerusalem; lift it up, fear not; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

He shall tend His flock as a shepherd, and He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and He shall soothe them that are with young.

Then he remembered the days of old, [saying], Where is He that brought up from the sea the shepherd of the sheep? Where is He that put His Holy Spirit in them?

We have become as at the beginning, when You did not rule over us, and Your name was not called upon us.

For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will seek out My sheep, and I will visit them.

And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and they My people. O house of Israel, says the Lord God,

you are My sheep, even the sheep of My flock, and I am the Lord your God, says the Lord God.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My [own], and I am known by My own.

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, just as I said to you.

And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you [as] overseers, to shepherd the church of the Lord, and of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

For I know this, that savage wolves will come in after my departure, not sparing the flock.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's [own] possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

For you were like sheep going astray, but you have turned back now to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

shepherd the flock of God among you, overseeing not by compulsion, but rather willingly, not in fondness for dishonest gain, but rather eagerly;

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
