He that speaks much, should also hear on the other side: or does the fluent speaker think himself to be righteous? Blessed is the short-lived offspring of woman.

Be not a speaker of many words, for is there none to answer you?

What! Is there any reason in vain words? Or what will hinder you from answering?

How long will you continue? Gain understanding, and afterward we also may speak.

How long will you torment my soul, and destroy me with words? Only know that the Lord has dealt with me thus.

You speak against me; you do not feel for me, but bear hard upon me.

And Moses and Aaron went in before Pharaoh, and they said to him, Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: How long do you refuse to reverence Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall this be a snare to us? Send the men away, that they may serve their God; don't you know that Egypt is destroyed?

So long as the simple cleave to justice, they shall not be ashamed: but the foolish being lovers of haughtiness, having become ungodly have hated knowledge, and have become subject to reproofs.

Let the Lord begin to wound me, but let Him not utterly destroy me.

Neither will your reproof cause me to cease my words, for neither will I endure the sound of your speech.

Then neither will I refrain my mouth; I will speak being in distress; being in anguish I will disclose the bitterness of my soul.

Will a wise man give for answer a [mere] breath of wisdom? And does he fill up the pain of his belly,

And He said, You shall go forth tomorrow, and shall stand before the Lord in the mount; behold, the Lord will pass by. And behold, a great [and] strong wind tore into the mountains, and crushed the rocks before the Lord; [but] the Lord [was] not in the wind. And after the wind [there was] an earthquake; [but] the Lord [was] not in the earthquake.
