For I know that he will order his sons, and his house after him, and they will keep the ways of the Lord, to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham all things whatsoever He has spoken to him.

The lips of the righteous know sublime [truths], but the foolish die in want.

The lips of the wise are bound by discretion, but the hearts of the foolish are not safe.

[Men] call the wise and understanding evil, but they that are pleasing in speech shall hear more.

The Lord, [even] God, gives me the tongue of instruction, to know when it is fit to speak a word; He has appointed for me early, He has given me an ear to hear;

Let no corrupt word proceed from your mouth, but only what is good for edification, that it may give grace to them that hear.

Let your word always be with grace, having been seasoned with salt, to know how you ought to answer each [one].

[ 16:6] And would there were strength in my mouth, and I would not spare the movement of my lips.

And command Joshua, and strengthen him, and encourage him; for he shall go before the face of this people, and he shall give them the inheritance of all the land which you have seen.

And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with gladness, because the Lord made them glad, and He turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the works of the house of the God of Israel.

Be strong, you relaxed hands and feeble knees.

Because you have perverted the heart of the righteous, whereas I perverted him not, and [that] in order to strengthen the hands of the wicked, that he should not at all turn from his evil way and live:

But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
