Remember that You have made me as clay, and You turn me again into dust.

And your glorying shall prove in the end to you like ashes, and your body [like a body] of clay.

You are formed out of the clay as I also: we have been formed out of the same substance.

And God formed the man of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

[ 3:20] In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread until you return to the ground out of which you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

And Abraham answered and said, Now I have begun to speak to my Lord, and I am [but] dust and ashes.

[before] the dust also return to the earth as it was, and the spirit return to God who gave it.

But we have this treasure in clay vessels, so that the extraordinary character of the power may be of God and not of us;

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made by hand, eternal in the heavens.

[I am as] that which grows old like a bottle, or like a moth-eaten garment.

Or he falls like a flower that has bloomed, and he departs like a shadow, and cannot continue.

You chasten man with rebukes for iniquity, and You make his life to consume away like a spider's web; nay, every man is disquieted in vain. Pause.

Years shall be vanity to them; let the morning pass away as grass.

For we have perished in Your anger, and in Your wrath we have been troubled.

[As for] man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so shall he flourish.

For the wind passes over it, and it shall not be; and it shall know its place no more.

His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

For "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man is as the flower of [the] grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
