For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout all the earth, to strengthen every heart that is perfect toward Him. In this you have done foolishly; henceforth there shall be war with you.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear Him, those that hope in His mercy;

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears [are open] to their prayer;

The Lord your God is in you; the Mighty One shall save you: He shall bring joy upon you, and shall refresh you with His love; and He shall rejoice over you with delight as in a day of feasting.

For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears [open] to their prayer; but the face of the LORD is against those doing evil."

And his substance consisted of seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys in the pastures, and a very great household, and he had a great husbandry on the earth; and that man was [most] noble of the men of the east.

And the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning: and his livestock consisted of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys of the pastures.

but hear us; you are in the midst of us a prince of God; bury your dead in our choice tombs, for none of us will by any means withhold his tomb from you, so that you should not bury your dead there.

You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be obedient to your word; only in the throne will I excel you.

He lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises the needy from the dunghill; to seat him with the princes of the people, and causing them to inherit the throne of glory;

And Mordecai was second to King Artaxerxes, and was a great man in the kingdom, and honored by the Jews, and passed his life beloved of all his nation. And Mordecai said, These things have been done by God. For I remember the dream which I had concerning these matters. For not one particular of them has failed. Therefore did He ordain two lots, one for the people of God, and one for all the [other] nations. And these two lots came for an appointed season, and for a day of judgment before God, and for all the nations. And God remembered His people, and vindicated His inheritance. And they shall observe these days, in the month [of] Adar, on the fourteenth and on the fifteenth day of the month, with an assembly, and joy and gladness before God, throughout the generations forever among His people Israel. In the fourth year of the reign of Ptolemy and Cleopatra, Dositheus, who said that he was a priest and a Levite, and Ptolemy his son, brought in the published letter of Purim, which they said existed, and [which] Lysimachus the son of Ptolemy who was in Jerusalem, had interpreted.

He chose David also His servant, and took him up from the flocks of sheep.

So he tended them in the innocence of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;

to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of His people;

He shall build for Me a house for My name, and I will set up his throne, even forever.

But My mercy I will not take from him, as I took it from those whom I removed from My presence.

He shall not be afraid of [any] evil report; his heart is ready to trust in the Lord.

He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and will guard you from the evil one.
