When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night [was] light in my luxury.

For darkness will not be darkness with You; but night will be light as day. As its darkness, so shall its light [be to You].

Woe to them that deepen their counsel, and not by the Lord. Woe to them that take secret counsel, and whose works are in darkness, and they say, Who has seen us? And who shall know us, or what we do?

Shall anyone hide himself in secret places, and I not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? Says the Lord.

Though they hid themselves in hell, from there shall My hand drag them forth; and though they go up to heaven, from there will I bring them down.

If they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, from there will I search them out and take them; and if they should go down from My presence into the depths of the sea, there will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

So then judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who also will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make clear the purposes of the hearts. Then each one's praise shall come from God.

And there is no creature hidden before Him, but all things are naked and open to His eyes, to whom we must give an account.

And the kings of the earth, and the magnates and the high-ranking military men, and the rich and the mighty, and every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the crags of the mountains.

And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from [the] face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!

But let darkness and the shadow of death seize it; let blackness come upon it.

For the morning is to them all as the shadow of death, for each will be conscious of the terror of the shadow of death.

O people walking in darkness, behold a great light; you that dwell in the region [and] shadow of death, a light shall shine upon you.

Alas! Destruction to the unrighteous, and rejection to them that do iniquity!

Neither shall the transgressors continue in Your sight. You hate, O Lord, all them that work iniquity.

The fear of the Lord is a stronghold of the saints, but ruin comes to them that work wickedness.

"And then I will confess to them, 'I never knew you! Depart from Me, you who work iniquity!'

But He will say, 'I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.'
